Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Climini application and related services.
By using Climini, you agree to these Terms. If you downloaded Climini from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms and Apple’s terms differ on a point Apple requires, Apple’s terms control for that point.
1. The Service
Climini compares the weather at the current hour with the same hour yesterday, for your location or for a place you choose.
Climini may show this comparison in the app, in widgets, and on a paired Apple Watch. It may also show a short commentary. Commentary is an expression of the weather already on screen. It is not a forecast you should rely on by itself, and it is not a substitute for official weather alerts, warnings, or emergency information.
2. Weather Information
Weather data comes from Apple WeatherKit and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
Climini should not be used as the sole source for safety, travel, health, or other decisions that depend on current conditions. Check an official source when conditions matter.
3. Your Places
Places you save stay on your device. You can remove them in the app.
You are responsible for the places you choose to save and view.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use Climini to:
- Violate applicable law
- Interfere with the app or its supporting services
- Abuse, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to Climini or its supporting services, except where the law allows it
5. AI Commentary
Some commentary is written on your device. Some is requested from a third-party AI service.
Commentary can be wrong, omit something important, or describe the weather in a way you did not expect. AI commentary may depend on third-party services and may be unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate.
6. Purchases
Climini may offer free and paid features.
If Climini offers paid features or subscriptions, they are processed through Apple and are subject to the terms shown at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions, if offered, may renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account settings before the renewal date.
Payment, cancellation, and refund requests are handled under Apple’s applicable policies.
7. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Climini to maintain security, improve functionality, comply with law, or respond to changes in third-party services.
We do not guarantee that every feature, place, widget, or third-party integration will always be available.
8. Third-Party Services
Climini relies on services provided by Apple, including WeatherKit, and may send a text prompt to Google for commentary.
Those services may be unavailable, inaccurate, delayed, or changed independently of Climini. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimer
Climini is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
Climini does not guarantee that weather data, comparisons, widget updates, or commentary will be complete, current, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Broong, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Inaccurate, delayed, or missing weather information
- Reliance on a comparison or on AI commentary
- Decisions you make based on what Climini shows
- Data remaining on a device backup after you delete the app
- The availability or conduct of third-party services
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Termination
You may stop using Climini at any time by deleting the app.
We may restrict access to the service when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or systems, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Climini changes.
The version and last updated date at the top of this page will indicate the latest version.
Continued use of Climini after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
